Meeting Readers in Person

Why bookstore conversations, festivals and reading groups matter.

Illustration for Meeting Readers in Person

Books are written in solitude, but they become fully alive in conversation. Bookstore appearances, library events and reading groups reveal the questions readers carry into a story and the details that remain with them afterward.

An author event should offer more than a summary of the book. It is a chance to explore research, character decisions, the writing process and the unexpected turns that shaped the finished novel.

Upcoming appearances will be listed on the Events page. Bookstores, libraries, festivals, broadcasters and reading groups can also request an appearance through Media & Bookings.
